Diabetes doesn't have to be for life.
Type 2 diabetes, PCOS and high blood pressure can often be put into remission. Dr. Bharath — team physician to India's boxing squad — treats them the way he treats elite athletes: find the root cause, fix it, and reduce your need for medicines.
Told to manage it. Forever.
Most people with diabetes, PCOS or blood pressure get a prescription and a follow-up date. Nobody talks about getting better.
- A new tablet, or a higher dose, almost every year.
- Sugar or BP numbers that never really come down.
- Diet advice that's generic, hard to follow and never adjusted.
- No one explains why it's happening — only how to control it.
Athletes aren't managed. They're fixed.
When an elite boxer's blood markers go out of range, nobody hands her a lifetime prescription. Her medical team finds the cause and corrects it — because a medicated athlete is a compromised athlete.
That's the standard Dr. Bharath brings to you. Medicine is not for life. Remission is the goal.

Meet Dr. Bharath
An NMC-recognised sports medicine specialist and founder of Ziathlon, Bangalore. As team physician to Team India's boxers, he has cared for Mary Kom, Nikhat Zareen and other world-class athletes.
He built MediFit so everyday people could get the same root-cause care — and stop treating chronic conditions as a life sentence.
Common questions.
Can type 2 diabetes really be reversed?
For many people, yes — especially when it's caught early and the underlying causes are addressed. Remission means your blood sugar stays in a healthy range with fewer or no medicines. It isn't guaranteed for everyone, which is why we start with a full assessment.
Will I have to stop my medicines?
Never on your own. Any change to your medicines is made gradually and only under medical supervision, based on your test results.
Do I need to come to the clinic?
Not necessarily. The Core plan runs fully online. Clinic, Elite and Signature plans include in-person care at Ziathlon, Bangalore.
How long does it take?
The programme runs for six months. Many people see their numbers start to move within the first few weeks, but lasting change takes the full course.
What does it cost?
It depends on the plan that suits you. Message us on WhatsApp — after a short assessment we'll recommend a plan and share the fees.
